Everybody knows the world economy has taken a big dip. People are being laid off and institutions that were once thought to be untouchable are falling like flies. What most people do not understand is that the internet is still growing. There are, in fact, over 1.4 billion people who are currently on the net. Traffic to websites grew by 50%-100% in 2008. This happened during the worst economic year that anyone can remember.
Statistics show that over $200 billion was spent online in the U.S. last year.
So what does that mean to you? Simple. You need to learn internet marketing.
Think about it from this perspective: If you want to be wealthy (or even just secure) you have to be self-employed. Now your choices are
1) Start a brick and morter business.
2) Start an internet business.
Have a look at any street USA. Seriously, go count how many people are walking around spending money. The streets are near dead. Now imagine opening a store that sells TVs or groceries or art supplies. Where are the customers? Now compare that to something like Google where you can access 1000 people per day in your niche almost overnight. It doesn’t even really seem fair. I personally only have one brick and morter business and it is because 2000 people per day are brought straight there from a cruise ship. All my other businesses are online because, frankly, that is where the money is.
So the question then becomes where do you start?
Well it depends on what you like.
If you want to create your own product I suggest Frank Kern.
If you want to market someone else’s product I would suggest www.mlmleadsystempro.com or www.therichjerk.com, maybe even Arbitrage Conspracy
If you are looking for a full service education system with pre-built websites and a professional call center to help close your sales then I would suggest www.carboncopypro.com
At the end of the day I don’t care what you choose. Just choose something. My experience over the last five years have been nothing short of amazing. The people I have met, the places I have been, and obviously the money are out of this world.
To your success,
Aaron Parkinson

Aaron,
You hit it straight on the nail. Brick and Morter Business is on a downhill trend and has been for years. Who needs the hassle of a light bill, Inventory, payroll and “Employees”.
I think it took our economy taking a dip to awaken the people who thought they had it all figured out in their 9-5 cozy highrise window office with the fake fern in the corner they got for their 1 year anniversary to wake up and smell the coffee.
The Internet is here to stay and as far as I am concerned, CCPro is the classiest, cutting edge Internet Marketing education company on the planet today.
There will be those that wave as the passing parade of humanity walks by with millions and then there are going to be the ones that win. Wave or Win-Your choice.
Thank you Aaron for all you do for this industry. Love the Blog dude.

Hey Aaron, nice post. Couldn’t agree more. I’ve been running my ecommerce for 1.5 yrs now, and every month it gets better and better. Just a couple of days ago we had our first $2,000 day.
Of course net profits come out to less than half of that, but still. Not a bad day at all when you consider how small our niche is: wedding shoes. hah!

Hi Aaron … as I walk down Main Street of my cozy little town, it is littered with Going Out Of Business signs, Everything Must Go signs, and worst, empty storefronts. I am so glad that we trusted you and got educated on how to market on the Internet.
It’s been a wild ride, and it’s great to know that even us “old folk” can learn new tricks now and again.
Thanks for your leadership.

It’s a pity that people don’t realize the importance of this information. Thanks for posing it.

Hi Aaron,
Good stuff. You mentioned you have one brick & mortar store and cruise ships bring customers to it every day. So which store in Georgetown is yours? And are you going to Pirates Week this year in November?
