UFC 104
Machida vs Shogun- I met Shogun last month in the Admirals Club in Miami. Super nice guy. That being said, he looked terrible against Griffin, worse against Coleman, and his fight with Liddell is a write off. I think Chuck had too many concussions. I take Machida.
Valasquez vs Rothwell- Rothwell has long been overrated due to the IFL. I see Cain knocking him out….quickly.
Neer vs Tibau- Who cares? Ok ok they probably do. Neer looked decent in his last go. Take Neer by decision.
Fisher vs Stevenson- Too bad this one didn’t happen two years ago. It should be a blood bath. Stevenson hasn’t looked great lately and even though Fisher is getting older he has more well-rouded/dynamic skills. Take Fisher.
Yoshida vs Johnson- The “Can someone please match there hype?” fight. Johnson is younger and faster. Yoshida is a living legend (in Japan). I personally think he is too old and slow. I call Johnson.
UFC 105
Yikes! I only went 3-2 with my last picks but I am committed to redeeming myself on this one. I have a habit of letting my emotions get involved but this time I am the “Iceman”. No pun intended of course 
Couture Versus Vera- Let’s get this straight. Vera is one of my all time favorites. He has really fought back from a low in his career and I REALLY want him to win this fight. He has great stand up and really good ground game too, however, Randy will not lose on the ground and has way to much experience for Vera. Short of a flash knockout, Couture wins. I am starting to feel sorry for Vera. They put him up against Sylvia when he wasn’t ready and now that he is just getting on a roll they give him Couture. Hey Dana! Why do you hate this kid so much?
Hardy Versus Swick- Kind of a “pick em” fight. Swick has been pretty much M.I.A the last couple of years. He can fight, for sure, but he is just so light. Dan Hardy is tough as nails and will be looking for blood and another statement. I personally think Marcus Davis is better than Swick, and Hardy just beat him, so give the edge to Hardy. Swick may pull this out by submission, particularly the guillotine, but I think Hardy is the next wave.
Bisping versus Kang- I really haven’t been impressed with either of these guys. I think Kang is too old and slowing down from his prime and I think Bisping has been pampered. That is, until he fought Hendo who nearly ended his life. It is in the UK though, so look for Bisping to stick and move his way around the ring, tire Kang out, and get the decision.
These are the only three big fights on this card. I know fights like Brown, Etim, etc will be exciting but they are B or C level guys so I won’t bother with those fights.

My picks for 105.
Couture Vs Vera. - I love Vera, he has the same style as me and he is also half filipino like me, he could catch Randy, I hope he does but I think Randy will be too experienced and come out on top. I feel sorry for Vera also
Hardy Vs Swick. - I like Swick, I hope he catches Hardy but I think Hardy will be too strong and knock Swick out
Bisping Vs Kang. - I would like Kang to win, he is a great fighter, but I somehow feel Bisping will knock him out. Kang hasn’t performed well lately. I feel sorry for him also.
My UFC 106 pick. I’m hoping Forrest knocks Tito out. I’m not a fan of Tito. I will be there to watch it live. Can’t wait!

Aaron, I agree with your picks for Couture & hardy. Couture is too experienced & Vera is overated. Hardy has the home crowd behind him.
But i think Kang will win because he’ll take down bisping and make him submit.

I really think it will be a stretch for Kang to submit Bisping. Bisping has really good takedown defense. If you look at his previous fights he has fought great wrestlers (Hendo, Hammel) and neither of them could get him down. Never know though!

We agree on most outcomes. I really hope Vera finds a way to win. I will be in Vegas too and going to the fights! Maybe we will see each other!

Evans vs Silva
Looks to be a good fight. I believe I will have to go with Silva. Evans has the 1 punch power but I think Silva is better all around.

Tix sold out pretty much before they went public.
The card hadn’t even been announced!!!
Lucky I got a mate working for Sony to hook us up!
Can’t wait and I dare say the UFC will be heading back to Australia time and time again.
